Springville High School announced its September 2026 Students of the Month in a report published September 3. The students were nominated by faculty within the Foreign Languages and Family and Consumer Science Departments.
Tuumogoy Groves was nominated by Mrs. Crandall for being kind, respectful, and helpful by assisting other students and preparing sewing machines. Sage Nance was nominated by Mrs. Olson for maintaining a positive attitude and helping other students stay on task.
Jonathan Tienda was nominated by Mr. Cardenas for his enthusiastic participation in AP Spanish. Anya Holdaway was also nominated by Mr. Cardenas, who noted her participation, ability to take feedback, and engagement with peers.
Asher Mowbray was nominated by Mr. Weech, who highlighted his progression from Spanish 2 to Spanish 4/CE 2010. Emma Christoffersen was nominated by Mrs. Brough for her volunteer work at a Utah state ASL competition and her self-motivation. Elleanna Osborn was nominated by Ms. Yuan for her three years of dedication to studying Chinese.
The selected students were recognized for their attitudes, hard work, and contributions to their respective classrooms.
