The National Weather Service has placed nearly all of Utah under an Extreme Heat Warning, which remains in effect until at least early Tuesday.
High temperatures are expected to reach 105 degrees or a bit more during this period.
The warning affects most Utah valleys as well as Uinta County in Wyoming.
Residents are encouraged to check their local forecasts as extreme heat persists through the beginning of the week.
