The Provo Municipal Council has scheduled a work meeting for Aug. 25, 2026, to address several city business items, according to an agenda published Aug. 18. The meeting is set to begin at 1:00 PM in the Provo Peaks Conference Room.
The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes a review of an ordinance regarding outdoor lighting standards. Council members will also discuss a request from the Taylor Terrace Homeowners Association concerning city acceptance, infrastructure upgrades, and financial assistance for its private water system.
Additionally, the council will hold discussions and a Q&A session regarding the Vesper Amphitheater project development and purchase agreements.
The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at 445 W. Center Street, Provo, UT 84601. The public can view the proceedings via live broadcast or on-demand viewing on YouTube and Facebook. Telephonic access is also available for those without internet access.
The council may move to a closed session to discuss matters related to pending litigation, real property transactions, or individual professional competence and health. The next work meeting is scheduled for Sept. 8, 2026.
