No. 17 Utah State women's soccer will continue the conference portion of its 2026 campaign this week with two Pac-12 matches, according to an October 6 statement from Utah State University Athletics. The Aggies are scheduled to host Washington State on Thursday, Oct. 8, at Chuck & Gloria Bell Field at 3 p.m., followed by a road game against Boise State on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 1 p.m.
The upcoming matchups feature teams currently without a loss in conference play. Utah State will face Washington State, which holds a 5-3-3 overall record and has won its last two matches against Oregon State and Fresno State. The Aggies will then travel to face Boise State, a team with a 10-1-1 record that is currently ranked fifth in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll. While the Aggies lead the all-time series against the Broncos 17-7-4, Boise State enters the week following wins against San Diego State and Gonzaga.
Utah State currently holds a top 10 national ranking in several offensive categories, including 6th in goal differential (+24), 6th in assists (37), 6th in points (103), 9th in shots per game (18.85), and 10th in goals (33). Defensively, the team ranks 38th in goals-against average (0.69) and 47th in shutout percentage (0.54). Sophomore goalkeeper Ivy Nystrom was recently named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week after posting a shutout against Colorado State, marking her sixth clean sheet of the season.
The Aggies are entering the week with a 34-game unbeaten streak at home. The team's offense has been bolstered by 14 different players scoring 33 goals this season. Sophomore defender Capriel Winder currently leads the Pac-12 and ranks ninth in the nation with seven assists. Utah State is also scheduled to host the Pac-12 Championship at Chuck & Gloria Bell Field from Nov. 11-14.
Following this week's conference matches, Utah State is scheduled to host Fresno State at Chuck & Gloria Bell Field on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m.
