The Glendale Town Corporation scheduled a regular Town Board meeting for Sept. 17, 2026, according to a notice posted Sept. 16. The meeting is set to take place at 90 East Center Street from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The agenda for the meeting includes several items requiring votes, such as conditional use permits for Kelly Bowen at 346 E Overlook Lane and Mona Pernisco at 336 E Overlook Lane, both of which previously passed in Planning and Zoning. Additionally, the board will vote on a lot split for Roger and Caroleen Chamberlain regarding Parcel G-2-37 Annex, which also passed in Planning and Zoning.
Other topics on the agenda include Wreaths Across America, a blueprint project by August Granath, and a request from Dana Monnett regarding snow plowing at 175 N Main. The board will also receive updates from the Mayor regarding FEMA and flood insurance, as well as a request from Kane County to review address ordinances for a uniform system.
Additional discussion items include a request from Planning and Zoning to adopt an ordinance to cap short-term rentals for the General Plan, a public entity resolution, and a six-month review and raises for Lori, Candice, and Matt. The meeting will also address Apple Festival updates and a planned water flush in October.
