Kane County is seeking proposals from qualified and properly licensed general contractors for construction services involving two remodel projects, according to a September 16 statement.
The county intends to select one contractor to complete both projects under a single construction agreement. Work will be bid from completed construction drawings and related contract documents.
The successful contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, subcontractors, permits, coordination, protection, cleanup, and other services required to finish the work according to construction documents, applicable codes, and County requirements. Contractors are expected to review all solicitation and construction documents and visit the project sites to include all work necessary for complete and functional projects.
