Davis and Weber Region Details
In the Davis and Weber region, Robert Dysart of Davis Tech and Bill Mott of DSD served as co-chairs. James Hodges acted as the UEN Advocate for entities including Davis Tech, Ogden, Weber, WSU, and the Weber County Library. Meetings for this region occurred on the third Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon during February, May, August, and November.
Wasatch Front Meeting Information
For the Wasatch Front, Jennifer Briggs of Salt Lake City Library and Sam Quantz of SLC SD served as co-chairs, with Dave Maw acting as the UEN Advocate. This group included entities such as Granite, Jordan, Murray, Salt Lake, SLCC, and Tooele Tech. Meetings were held on the second Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. during February, May, September, and November at rotating locations.
NUT-Forum Leadership and Schedule
The NUT-Forum featured co-chairs Kevin Grover of USU and Scott Darnell of Cache County SD. Kimberly Davis served as the UEN Advocate for Box Elder, Cache, Logan, and USU. Meetings were scheduled for the first Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in February, May, August, and November.
NUES Region Representatives
The NUES region was led by co-chairs Mark Houtz of NUES and Kent Mansfield of Uintah SD, with Bryan Peterson as the UEN Advocate. This group represented Daggett, Duchesne, Morgan, Park City, and others, meeting every other month on the second Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
CUES Region Meeting Details
In the CUES region, Jason Strate and Byron Peterson served as co-chairs with Charice Carroll as the UEN Advocate for regions including Juab, Piute, Richfield, Sevier, and Snow College. Meetings were held every month, except July, on the second Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
SEDC Region and bSWATT Meetings
The SEDC region was co-chaired by Ken Munford of Iron SD, with Jeff Egly as the UEN Advocate for Beaver, Dixie Tech, Garfield, Iron, Kane, Millard, SUU, Utah Tech University, and Washington. bSWATT meetings for K-12 occurred on the first Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the SEDC office.
Other regional information included the Utah County group, co-chaired by Matt Johnson of Alpine and Kevin Dent of UVU, with Kiera Hamilton as the UEN Advocate. The SESC region, with Amanda Molinari as the UEN Advocate, held biannual in-person meetings in the spring and fall.
For charter schools, Kimberly Davis and Charice Carroll served as advocates for different areas north and south of 3300 South and I-1:: Head Start technical representatives were also invited to regional meetings with advocates including Kevin Buchan, Jeff Egly, Kiera Hamilton, and Amanda Molinari.
