The West Haven Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a regular meeting on September 23, 2026, at 6:00 PM, according to a notice published September 17. The meeting will include discussions on zoning amendments, conditional use permits, and workshops regarding the General Plan and accessory dwelling unit standards.
The agenda for the meeting includes a presentation and public hearing regarding an amendment to the zoning map from A-1 to R-2 for parcels located at 2057 S 2700 W, submitted by applicant Trek Loveridge.
Additionally, the commission will consider several permit applications:
A conditional use permit and site plan for an indoor driving range located at 3490 W 3300 S Unit 12, submitted by Ian Clark.
A conditional use permit extension for a home occupation at 4840 W 4250 S, submitted by Oscar Uribe.
A proposed use, conditional use, and site plan for a portable building display, storage, and transportation logistics facility at 980 W 21st Street, submitted by Blaine Childs.
The meeting will also feature workshops on the General Plan and Future Land Use Map, as well as Accessory Dwelling Unit Standards. The meeting will be chaired by Chairman Reed and includes members Jenson and Stimpson for opening ceremonies.
