According to a report published August 27, Bountiful City has announced several upcoming community events, employment opportunities, and seasonal changes for residents.
The city is currently accepting applications for a part-time customer service representative, with an application deadline of Sept. 7, 2026.
A Bountiful Business Symposium is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM at 795 S Main St. This free event includes a networking breakfast, a welcome address by Mayor Bradshaw, and a keynote presentation by Robert Spendlove, a senior economist at Zions Bank. Interested attendees must RSVP to licensing@bountiful.gov by Thursday, Sept. 10.
On Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, the Bountiful Day of Service will feature various projects starting at 9:00 AM to honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and America's 250th anniversary. Main projects include a food drive for the Bountiful Food Pantry, a Creekside Park cleanup, and a Veterans Park cleanup.
As part of the service efforts, the Bountiful Food Pantry is requesting non-perishable food items, such as canned meats, fruit, vegetables, soup, chili, and cereal, as well as quick meals, baking supplies, diapers, toilet paper, and feminine hygiene products. Residents can also donate online at givebutter.com/bsfjwx.
Bountiful City's secondary water systems are scheduled to be turned off for the season on Sept. 15, 2026. Residents using culinary water for irrigation are asked to stop watering lawns, gardens, and outdoor landscaping on that date. This request does not affect indoor culinary water use for drinking, cooking, or bathing.
Other ongoing community activities include the Bountiful Farmers Market at Bountiful Town Square, held Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM through Oct. 15. The market accepts SNAP/EBT benefits, Double Up Food Bucks Utah, and Produce Rx. Additionally, Stories of Service events are held at Veterans Park every Wednesday from 6 p.m. until dusk through Sept. 30, 2026, featuring veterans sharing stories of service.
