A 68-year-old woman was arrested by Draper City Police officers on Saturday following an alleged assault at the Cowabunga Bay waterpark.
The incident took place in the lazy river area of the park, where the woman allegedly choked and scratched a child who had sprayed her with water.
According to reports, the child was standing near a fountain along the side of the lazy river when the interaction occurred.
Draper City Police took the woman into custody following the alleged altercation.
A Sandy school has been evacuated for a second time in just a week following another threat being placed against the school. The Waterford School, a private school at 1480 East 9400 South, was evacuated Tuesday morning. Previously, the school had to be evacuated on Friday following a bomb threat being called in to the school.
