Apartment residents shelter at Hillcrest High while firefighters battle 4-alarm blaze in Midvale

MIDVALE, Utah, July 31, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Apartment residents have taken shelter at a Hillcrest High athletic building while dozens of firefighters battle a fire at the North Union Apartments in Midvale. Crews were called to the scene at about 7:50 a.m., Nate Cochran, Unified Fire, told Gephardt Daily.
