The Planning Commission approved the Phase I Conditional Use Permit for the Snow Park Village parking structure on February 26, 2025.
Following this approval, a Phase II application for vertical development atop the parking structure is expected to be submitted for Planning Commission review later.
The project has undergone multiple stages of review and public engagement. The Planning Commission held a work session with an applicant presentation regarding updated Snow Park Village plans on September 11, 2024.
Public hearings regarding the Snow Park Village were conducted by the Planning Commission on several dates, including October 9, 2024, October 30, 2024, November 13, 2024, December 11, 2024, January 22, 2025, and February 26, 2025.
Regarding local infrastructure, the City Council voted on December 14, 2023, to approve Ordinance No. 2023-56. This ordinance vacates portions of Deer Valley Drive at the Snow Park base and establishes a public-private partnership with Deer Valley Resort, as outlined in a Letter of Intent.
