The irrigation schedule for Loa has been modified again to address a water shortage. This change follows an educational meeting held recently that was presented by the Fremont Irrigation Company.
Officials expressed gratitude to those who attended the meeting and noted that the Fremont Irrigation Company did an exceptional job of explaining the situation.
The modification is intended to meet the current shortage of water. While officials stated they hope this is the final change, they noted it remains possible that the schedule could change again.
Loa officials acknowledged that these changes are stressful and frustrating for everyone involved. The town is working to distribute information as quickly as possible.
Pumps will be shut off starting tomorrow for a period of four days. Following this shutdown, the new schedule is set to begin on June 21, starting with 200 East.
Residents who wish to be added to an email list to receive updates can send their email address to the town to receive information through that method.
