The Grantsville City Council scheduled a regular meeting for Wednesday, September 2, 2026, according to a notice posted August 28. The meeting is set to begin at 7:00 pm and will be held in person at 429 East Main Street and electronically via Zoom.
The agenda for the meeting includes a presentation from the Veterans Committee regarding the first model of the Grantsville Veterans Memorial Statue. The council will also consider Resolution 2026-65, which involves appointing Shana Nelson to the Historic Preservation Committee.
Additional items on the agenda include the consideration of Ordinance 2026-27 for the Alington Planned Unit Development at approximately 948 E Main Street (SR-138). The council will also review Resolution 2026-62 regarding a Master Development Agreement for the Alington Flex Homes Planned Unit Development at the same location.
Other business to be discussed includes the approval of minutes from the August 19, 2026, City Council Regular Meeting and the approval of bills. The council will also consider Resolution 2026-57 regarding the sale or disposal of certain personal property surplus. Additionally, Resolution 2026-67 will be considered to award the Durfee Street Widening Project to Black Forest Paving Maintenance, LLC.
The meeting will include a session for public comment. In compliance with the Americans with Disability Act, the city stated that reasonable requests for assistance to participate in meetings may be made by calling City Hall at least three days in advance.
