The Grantsville City Council will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, according to a public notice published August 28. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm at 429 East Main Street and will also be accessible electronically via Zoom.
The agenda for the meeting includes several items for consideration. The council will review the approval of minutes from the August 19, 2026, City Council Regular Meeting and the approval of bills. Other action items include Consideration of Resolution 2026-65 to appoint Shana Nelson to the Historic Preservation Committee and Consideration of Resolution 2026-67 to award the Durfee Street Widening Project to Black Forest Paving Maintenance, LLC.
Development and property matters are also on the agenda. The council will consider Ordinance 2026-27 regarding the Alington Planned Unit Development located near 948 E Main Street (SR-138), as well as Resolution 2026-62 for a Master Development Agreement for the Alington Flex Homes Planned Unit Development at the same location. Additionally, the council will consider Resolution 2026-57 to declare certain personal property surplus for sale or disposal.
The meeting will also feature a presentation from the Veterans Committee regarding the 1st Model to Grantsville for the Grantsville Veterans Memorial Statue. The public may also participate through the public comment portion of the meeting.
