The Morgan County Commission scheduled a meeting for September 1, 2026, according to an August 29 notice. The meeting was set to include a 4:00 PM work session followed by a 5:00 PM regular meeting at the Commission meeting room located at 48 West Young Street in Morgan, Utah.
The scheduled work session was set to address latest updates regarding the Flagship BCP Eagle Vista Villas Development Agreement.
During the regular meeting, the commission was scheduled to consider several action items. These included a decision regarding moving a gate in Hardscrabble to the end of the County line, the appointment of Kimberly Bell to the Morgan County Planning Commission, and a refund of unexpended funds from FY 2025 received from WPR-RFD.
Additional agenda items included discussions on the Morgan County Public Works, the Morgan County Board of Equalization 2026 appeals, and various planning and zoning matters. These zoning topics included a development agreement for 37 acres in the Mountain Green Area, a code text amendment for Agriculture Protection Areas, a rezone request for 2.90 acres in the Enterprise area, and a third amendment to the Cottonwoods at Mountain Green Development Agreement.
The meeting agenda also included presentations from Sheriff Corey Stark regarding license plate recognition cameras and an introduction of the County's Surveyor by Shaun Rose.
Other items on the agenda included the approval of minutes from the August 17 and August 18, 2026, commission meetings, a pavement contract agreement for the airport seal, and an agreement with Carl N Anderson, III for Indigent Defense Conflict Counsel.
The notice was posted by Morgan County Administrative Manager Kate Becker. Individuals requiring special accommodations for the meeting were advised to notify Becker at least 24 hours in advance.
