Deer Valley moved forward with its Expanded Excellence initiative, a project aimed at increasing the resort's terrain and infrastructure. The expansion was set to introduce 10 new chairlifts and over 2,000 acres of new skiable terrain.
According to Vice President of Mountain Operations Steve Graff, construction milestones included a nearly complete mid-station at Big Dutch and a finished base terminal. Work was also underway on the East Village skier services building. To support operations for the 2025–2026 season, a temporary facility featuring dining, rentals, and ski storage was planned.
Additionally, the new Hail Peak Maintenance Facility was introduced to support one of the world's most advanced snowmaking systems. The new terrain expansion was expected to include a run named Redemption.
The terrain expansion developments were part of a broader effort to update the mountain's offerings. Updates regarding the progress were provided through video milestones and behind-the-scenes insights.
