Available Student Services
The counseling office provides various services and information for students, including scheduling, course catalogs, transcript requests, and scholarship details. Recent updates also include information regarding Utah Higher Ed Day for Juniors.
Academic Progress Resources
To assist with academic progress, the department manages resources such as credit recovery summer school, district counseling, free K-12 tutoring, and DEC original credit course requests.
Counselor Assignments by Name
Counselors at Stansbury High are assigned to students based on last names. Nathan Seffker serves students with last names A-C, while Christina Shinton works with students from D-H. Holly Swensen is responsible for last names I-M, Benjamin Strassman manages N-Sh, and Dorisann Jensen assists students with last names Si-Z.
Counseling Department Support Staff
Support staff members include Kristin Cavey as the CE and Scholarship Coordinator, Carolyn Clawson as the WBL Coordinator, Kathryn Bullough as the Registrar Secretary, Amy Rowley as the Trustlands Office Aide, and Grace Larsen as the Counseling Secretary.
