A new four-way stop is coming to the intersection of 4270 West and 5855 South in Kearns.
Currently, only traffic on 4270 West is required to stop at this location.
Over the next week or so, new stop signs will be installed on 5855 South to complete the four-way stop transition.
Drivers are advised to use extra caution when traveling through this intersection during the installation period. Officials noted that some drivers may not realize the new stop signs are in place right away.
Motorists should slow down, stay alert, and watch for other motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists.
The initiative is part of efforts to help keep Kearns roads safe.
