The 2026 Utah Residents’ Opinions on Tourism survey has been released, marking the fifth survey in a multi-year longitudinal study of views held by Utah residents regarding tourism.
The study is part of the travel and tourism research efforts conducted by the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute, which produces reports, profiles, and research briefs focused on the visitor economy in Utah.
The longitudinal study tracks resident opinions over several years, with this latest survey following previous data collection periods.
The Gardner Institute provides these findings through its travel and tourism archives to highlight research related to Utah's visitor economy.
