The Nibley City Recreation 3rd and 4th Grade Flag Football League released an updated schedule on October 12, 2026. The schedule outlines upcoming games, venue locations, and protocols for weather-related cancellations.
The league has scheduled rescheduled games for Monday, Oct. 19, 2026, following cancellations due to weather. Previously, games scheduled for Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, were canceled due to weather and moved to the Oct. 19 date. Additionally, no games were held during the Fall Break period from Oct. 8 through Oct. 10, 2026.
Games are played at several designated locations. Nibley locations include Anhder Park Field 1 (AS1), Nibley City Hall Fields 1 and 2 (CH1 and CH2), and Heritage Park Fields 6, 7, and SE (HW6, HW7, and HSE). Wellsville locations include the Wellsville Softball field at Darley Park and the "Old" Wellsville Elementary field.
According to the league, officials will cancel games by 4 p.m. on the day of the event if significant rain or snow creates unsafe field conditions or if play would damage the field. In such instances, participants are to be notified via text or phone call from their coach. The league also maintains a guideline stating that if lightning occurs within six miles of the field, lightning guidelines posted online must be followed.
The 3rd and 4th Grade League is a recreation-level program designed to provide an affordable developmental football experience. The league aims to teach basics in a non-competitive environment, utilizing a scrimmage format where coaches assist with officiating and instruction. The league motto is Play Smart, Play Safe, and Have Fun.
The most current schedule for the league is available at www.NibleyCity.gov. Participants are advised that wearing a mouthguard at every game and practice is recommended for safety.
