The Friends of Holladay has launched a grassroots fundraising effort to encourage residents to invest in community enhancements. This initiative aims to fund projects that are not considered essential services for the City but are intended to improve the quality of life for all residents.

One primary focus of the current fundraising efforts is the addition of a concert stage. The project aims to enhance the Holladay City Park Gazebo with a portable stage designed for use during summer concerts and festivals.
According to the initiative, this stage addition will create a larger performance space for artists and improve the experience for audience members. Organizers stated their goal is to have the stage operational for the 2026 Holladay Arts Council summer concert season.
