The Kaysville City Planning Commission has announced that it is seeking applicants for a new Alternate Planning Commissioner position.
Commission Role and Responsibilities
The Planning Commission consists of residents appointed by the City Council who bring various professional and vocational backgrounds to the role.
Members of the commission are responsible for making recommendations to the City Council regarding land use ordinances, the General Plan, and amendments to the zoning map.
Additionally, the Commission acts on land use applications including variances and conditional use permits.
Meeting Schedule and Location
Meetings for the commission take place at 7:00 pm on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. These meetings are held in the Council Chambers located at Kaysville City Hall at 23 East Center Street, Kaysville, UT.
Application Process and Deadline
Applications will be submitted to Mayor Tami Tran, who will review the submissions and schedule interviews.
The application period is scheduled to close on November 1, 2024, at 10:00 pm.
