The fall sports year for Lehi High School is set to get underway on Monday, even though students are not scheduled to return to the classroom until August 19.
The Lehi High School community is invited to attend the annual football fundraising dinner and auction on August 1, with kickoff games scheduled for August 7.
Lehi High School administration has recently announced several coaching appointments. Riley White has been appointed as the head baseball coach, Bailey Flinders has been named head swim team coach, and Qi’Sean Rust has been named head girls basketball coach.
Recent athlete highlights include Gracie Tait, a 12th grade track athlete, who earned top state medals in javelin, sprints, and relays. Peter Phillips, an 11th grade boys tennis player, reached the semifinals after being seeded No. 3 entering the 6A state tournament.
In recent softball news, the Lehi team secured the league championship after going undefeated in Region 3 games with a 12-0 record, though the team later bowed out of the playoffs in the bracket round.
In addition to athletic achievements, Lehi athletes have earned academic honors through the Utah High School Activities Association's Academic All-State Award.
