Nibley City is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Recreation Aide to assist in building a healthy and connected community, according to a September 1 statement.
The entry-level position involves various tasks including distributing promotional materials, preparing signage, and organizing equipment for programs and events. Aides will assist with setting up and cleaning up community events, marking athletic fields, and preparing materials for coach and volunteer meetings.
Applicants must be at least 17 years old and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. The role requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as well as the ability to pass a background check. While experience in inventory management, youth sports, or athletic field marking is a plus, the city will provide training for the right candidate.
The role offers an hourly wage ranging from $7.25 to $11.25 depending on experience and department needs. The schedule is flexible and negotiable, typically consisting of 2 to 5 hours per week with a maximum of 10 hours per week, though additional hours may be available during major community events or program launches.
