Summer Heat Forecast
According to a July 6 forecast from Ski Utah, hot weather is expected to intensify through the upcoming weekend. While the region saw a chance for thunderstorms in the Northern Utah mountains on July 6 and July 7, conditions are expected to dry out as the heat takes hold. Forecasters noted signs of potential monsoon moisture toward mid-month.
Seasonal Snow Totals
Despite the lack of recent precipitation, seasonal snow totals remain significant across the region. Park City Mountain Resort has recorded 171 inches of year-to-date snowfall, while Deer Valley Resort reports 144 inches for the season. Alta Ski Area maintains a base total of 71 inches.
