According to a September 8 report, the 2026 Utah Wellbeing Survey results highlight Kaysville's strengths in safety, family life, and overall quality of life. The survey, conducted by Utah State University, included participation from 316 Kaysville residents to help understand community priorities and perspectives.
Of the survey participants, 232 residents provided feedback through open-ended questions regarding what they value about Kaysville and areas for improvement. Common themes identified by residents include the importance of friendly neighbors and a sense that community members look out for one another.
Residents expressed a desire to maintain the city's small-town feel, citing quiet neighborhoods, mature trees, and rural character as valued qualities. While some residents support economic development and additional housing, concerns were noted regarding the impact of growth on infrastructure, including roads, water, and traffic.
The survey results also emphasized the importance of parks, trails, and outdoor recreation. Residents expressed interest in improved trail connections and safer routes for walking and biking. To support community connection, the city is investing in new opportunities, such as the construction of the Kaysville Fieldhouse in partnership with the Davis School District.
