The Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah has announced a partnership with Southwest Technical College to launch a new offering through the Puow’wan Program. The program will provide hands-on culinary experience under the guidance of an expert chef.
Participants in the classes will learn to prepare various dishes, ranging from starters to desserts. Due to the nature of the training, each class will be limited to 12 participants.
Registration for each class is scheduled to open on the first of the month. An announcement regarding further details is expected on Oct. 1.
The program aims to provide practical experience in food preparation, from simple meals to more complex desserts.
