You are invited to the Salt Lake City Council public hearing regarding the Issuer’s plan to issue a non-voted revenue bond to the Board.

The hearing is to authorize a construction loan of up to $39,525,000, with $19,350,000 in principal forgiveness, for a net repayable amount of $20,175,000 for up to 39 years at 1.5% hardship grant assessment fee instead of interest, to Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities for the planning and construction of lead service line inventory and replacements as well as potential replacement of aging water mains to facilitate service line replacements where large quantities of lead are present. User charge rates and connection fees will also be discussed. They will not increase.
All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. This meeting will be held via electronic means, while also providing an in-person opportunity to attend or participate in the hearing at the City and County Building, located at 451 South State Street, Room 315, Salt Lake City, Utah.
