Strata Networks announced in a statement published October 7 that Beau Hancock will succeed Bruce H. Todd as Chief Executive Officer, effective Nov. 19, 2026. The announcement comes as Todd prepares for retirement after 41 years of service with the company, which includes 32 years spent serving as CEO and General Manager.
Kelly Dastrup, President of the Strata Networks Board of Directors, stated that Todd's leadership has helped shape the company and move it forward while prioritizing member needs. Todd credited the company's successes to the dedicated leadership team, executive secretaries, and the teamwork of employees across all departments. He also expressed gratitude to the Board and its Executive Committee for their oversight and support of strategic and operational goals, as well as his wife, Carla, for her support during his career.
Hancock, a Roosevelt native, will take over leadership of the telecommunications cooperative. He first joined Strata in 2000 as an Account Executive before returning as the company's attorney in 2013. After joining the executive team in 2021, his responsibilities have included legal and regulatory affairs, subsidiary oversight, strategic initiatives, enterprise risk management, human resources, and business development. Hancock also serves on the Roosevelt City Council.
Headquartered in Roosevelt, Utah, Strata is the largest independent telecommunications cooperative in Utah. For more than 75 years, the organization has provided communications services such as fiber broadband, wireless, and business solutions to local governments, businesses, schools, and community organizations.
Hancock stated he is honored by the opportunity to lead and intends to build upon the foundation established by Todd. Strata Networks is inviting members, customers, and community partners to welcome Hancock to his new role and thank Todd for his service.
