The historic Ruby’s Inn, located at the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park, received several awards in the recent Best of Southern Utah contest. The property secured gold for Romantic Getaway and silver for Hotel, while the dinner show at Ebene_nezer’s Barn & Grill earned gold in the Live Music category.
General manager Lance Syrett expressed pride in the recognition, noting that the various venues within the property have a long history of receiving awards.
Founded in 1916 by Reuben C. “Ruby” Syrett and his family, Ruby’s Inn has operated for over a century, predating Bryce Canyon's status as a national park. The destination serves as a gateway to the area's red-rock formations and hoodoos, which attract nearly 3 million annual visitors.
Located at approximately 7,600 feet above sea level, the area offers cooler summer temperatures compared to other Southern Utah destinations like Zion or Arches. Daytime highs during the summer months are typically in the 70s or 80s.
The property provides various accommodations, including hotel rooms, suites, cabins, and campsites. Amenities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools and multiple dining options. For outdoor activities, guests can access horseback riding, guided ATV tours, scenic flights, and hiking trails.
A paved 18-mile bike path connects the area near Ruby’s Inn to both Bryce Canyon and Red Canyon.
Ebenezer’s Barn & Grill features a dinner show running most nights from April through October, performing with The Bryce Canyon Wranglers. Additionally, the Bryce Canyon Country Rodeo operates on Wednesday through Saturday evenings until the end of August.
Ruby’s Inn is currently offering a Bryce Canyon Summer Savings Package, allowing guests to save 30% per night on stays of two nights or more. This promotion is available through July 23, subject to blackout dates.
