Friday’s tasting was packed, the hot October afternoon an ideal stage for a drink. Attendees poured through the front gates to meet with producers, talk wine and let the wine talk. Julie Minadeo, Southwest Division manager of Brassfield Estate Winery in California, said the crowd was encouraging to see.

Park City considers funding pool to help businesses prepare for Winter Olympics - Park Record
Businesses could win gold from the Park City municipal government long before the 2034 Winter Olympics open. Municipal staffers have broached the idea of creating some sort of funding pool designed to assist the private sector and not-for-profit organizations with preparations for the Games.

Park City presses pause on Quinn’s Junction transit expansion
The Park City Council won’t be expanding bus service to Quinn’s Junction this winter. Councilmembers want to wait until Studio Crossing housing is finished. During a meeting Oct. The change would fill a gap left by High Valley Transit’s 102 and 106 commuter routes, which serve the Park City Hospital in the morning and evening.

The Summit County woman must pay tens of millions to the estate of her late husband, who she's convicted of murdering. The family of Eric Richins won a $55 million judgement Oct. In March, a Summit County jury found Kouri Richins guilty of killing Eric Richins, her husband, for monetary gain.
