The Town of Dutch John is requesting bids for the Dutch John Fire Station Building Remodel Project, according to a September 1 statement. The project aims to renovate and upgrade the existing fire station to improve safety, functionality, and operational capabilities.
The remodeling work includes improvements to mechanical, electrical, safety, communications, security, and building systems. Additionally, the project involves upgrades to equipment and facilities that support fire and emergency-response operations.
Renovations to selected interior spaces will include the replacement of certain doors, lighting, finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures, as well as the installation of permanent roof-access equipment. The Town of Dutch John may reject any or all submitted bids.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting was scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. onsite at 560 South Blvd, Dutch John, UT 84023. The deadline for submitting questions was set for September 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
Bids must be received by the Town of Dutch John at PO Box 235, Dutch John, UT 84023, or electronically through Sunrise Engineering's Planroom at www.sunrise-eng.com by September 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time. Bids will be opened and read at the same time and location on September 21, 2026. Construction completion is expected by January 27, 2027.
