Riverton City has announced upcoming street hockey opportunities, including a three-day camp and the first-ever Utah Mammoth Street Hockey League. The programs are designed for various skill levels, ranging from beginners to those looking to sharpen existing skills.
The Street Hockey Camp is scheduled for August 10-12, 2026, at the Riverton City Park Tennis Courts. The camp serves children ages 8-12, with specific time slots for 8-10 year olds from 8-9:45 a.m. and 11-12 year olds from 10-11 a.m. Registration for the camp costs $30.
Following the camp, the Utah Mammoth Street Hockey League will run from September 21 to October 28. This league is open to students in grades 2 through 5, divided into 2nd-3rd grade and 4th-5th grade divisions.
Games will take place on Mondays for 2nd-3rd grade and Wednesdays for 4th-5th grade between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Each session includes a 20-minute team practice before games. The league follows Utah Mammoth Street Hockey rules, featuring 3v3 play with goalies. All goalie equipment will be provided.
This beginner-friendly league focuses on skill building and enjoyment, noting that no scores or standings will be maintained. The cost for the league is $50 per player, and participants will receive a jersey, a hockey stick, and two tickets to a Utah Mammoth game.
Both the camp and the league will be held at the Riverton City Park Tennis Courts located at 1452 W 12600 S, Riverton, UT 84065.
