The Wayne School District has released an activities calendar detailing a series of athletic events and administrative meetings for October 2026. The schedule includes various volleyball, baseball, and cross country competitions alongside district meetings.
Several athletic events are scheduled for early October. On Oct. 4, the district will host baseball state quarter-final games. That same day, volleyball is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. against Water Canyon, and cross country is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Water Canyon. Additionally, baseball state finals are scheduled for Oct. 5.
The district has several meetings and other athletic events planned for mid-October. A Title 1 meeting is scheduled for 6:00 a.m. on Oct. 7. On Oct. 10, an October board meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., and an annual Title 1 meeting is scheduled for 6:00 a.m. Volleyball matches are scheduled for Oct. 10 against Bryce Valley at 7:00 p.m., and against Valley for Senior Night. Cross country is scheduled for the Region 20 Tournament at Bryce Valley on Oct. 10.
The end of the month features high-stakes athletic competitions. The volleyball state tournament is scheduled for Oct. 24 at UVU, and the first round of state volleyball is scheduled for Oct. 23. The state cross country championship is scheduled for Oct. 31.
The district's athletics program encompasses several categories including baseball, cross country, volleyball, and various basketball programs.
