The Kanab Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, to consider a preliminary plat for the Catori Canyon Planned Development Overlay, according to a August 22 statement.
The proposed plan involves subdividing 27.55 acres of vacant land, identified as K-38-1 Annex a, into 13 lots. These lots will range in size from 1.20 acres to 5.42 acres and are located approximately at 250 South 600 West in Kanab.
The hearing is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the Kanab City Council Chambers, located within the Kanab City Complex at 26 North 100 East, Kanab, Utah. Interested individuals may appear at the meeting to be heard or submit written comments to the Kanab City Planning Department prior to the scheduled time.
