Monticello Elementary School announced that adjustments are being made to the schedule and events for the school's scheduled field day because of the weather. The school noted that the scheduled field day would be the coldest day of the month.
Parents have been asked to ensure children wear tennis shoes and bring a coat for the event. While adjustments are being made, the school may still walk to the track to compete in the running competition.
As the school enters its last week of school, staff expressed gratitude for the continued support of the community.
