East Carbon City will hold a public hearing and council meeting on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, according to a September 3 notice. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 P.M. at East Carbon City Hall, located at 101 West Geneva, East Carbon.
The agenda for the meeting includes the discussion and possible approval of a proposed water rate structure. Other items on the agenda include a discussion regarding Gorden Roberts and trailers and cars, as well as the possible approval of a rezone for the ABC Learning Center by the Planning and Zoning department. Additionally, officials will discuss the vacation of Circle Way in Columbia and the introduction of Michael Walter, the new owner of Co Gen.
The meeting will be held both in person and via Zoom. The council also plans to address the approval of previous meeting minutes, reports from various boards and committees, and a possible closed session to discuss the character or professional competence of individuals.
