The City of West Jordan issued an amended notice on July 21 regarding the availability of funding for the 2026 Community Development Block Grant. The city anticipates receiving $481,738 in funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The West Jordan Community Development Department has issued a Notice of Funding Availability totaling $355,975 to consider proposals that support Program Year 2026 Annual Action Plan priorities.
NOFA information and proposal specifications are scheduled to be available online at https://www.zoomgrants.com/zgf/WestJordan2026CDBG on August 3, 2026. Respondents may submit questions via email to WJPlanning@westjordan.utah.gov through August 24, 2026.
Proposals must be submitted by 5:00 pm (Mountain) on August 31, 2026. Eligible respondents will be invited to present their proposals to the CDBG Committee in September.
A public hearing is tentatively scheduled for September 22, 2026, where the West Jordan City Council will conduct a meeting to make a final decision on the funding.
