LeaseLogic announced the launch of a real estate operating system for commercial tenants in a report published August 4, 2026. The new platform aims to help businesses avoid costly mistakes by connecting site due diligence, construction exposure, business terms, and lease language into a single workflow for evaluating deals.
The platform was created by LeaseLogic founder Jeff Merriam, who noted that many businesses spend months negotiating leases without realizing that significant risks often exist outside of rent costs. According to Merriam, the system helps deal teams evaluate if a location is viable before final commitments are made.
LeaseLogic evaluates more than 100 rules and provides negotiating strategy recommendations before the legal review stage. The tool is intended to provide a structured starting point for deal teams rather than replacing brokers, attorneys, or construction professionals. The platform currently being used by a select group of franchisors and retail operators to evaluate live commercial real estate transactions.
The company is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. LeaseLogic was developed after Merriam observed recurring patterns during nearly a decade of working in institutional real estate.
