A different way to complete your degree requirements this fall
University Connected Learning
Through academic credit, students can take University of Utah credit-bearing courses at the Sandy Center while enjoying perks like smaller class sizes, free parking, on-site computer labs, a testing center and free Wi-Fi. Located in the south valley, the Sandy Center offers a convenient way to complete general education and degree requirements outside of the main campus.
Explore new interests while earning credit
While convenience is a major draw, Sandy Center courses are also an opportunity to explore new subjects and interests. Whether fulfilling a general education requirement, building skills for a future career or simply exploring a topic that sparks curiosity, students have access to engaging courses in fields ranging from communication and psychology to writing and the arts.

If you’re interested in taking University of Utah classes outside of the main campus, the Sandy Center offers a variety of credit-bearing courses this fall. Browse the University of Utah’s Class Schedule & Catalog to see available Fall 2026 Semester offerings.
Not looking for credit? Continuing Education also offers a wide variety of academic noncredit classes for learners who want to pursue a topic simply because it interests them. From art and languages to health, science, business and outdoor recreation, noncredit classes provide an opportunity to learn from University of Utah instructors without the pressure of grades or exams. No admission to the university is required, and classes are open to anyone 18 and older.
