Republican Party Selection Process
The Republican Party of Utah has opted not to participate in the State's Presidential Primary Election. Instead, the party will conduct a Preference Poll alongside statewide caucus meetings. Participation in this poll is restricted to voters registered as affiliated members of the Republican Party.
Republican Caucus Details
Republican caucus meetings are scheduled for March 5, 2024, with registration starting at 6:00 PM and meetings beginning at 7:00 PM. Officials encourage participants to preregister to accelerate the check-in process, which also allows for an absentee presidential preference poll ballot and a delegate/precinct leadership ballot to be sent via email. Those unable to attend in person may participate through absentee options.
Democratic Primary Election Information
The Democratic Party of Utah will participate in the State's Primary Election on March 5, 2024. This process allows individuals registered with other political parties and unaffiliated voters to participate. While Democratic Party members should have received ballots by mail, all other eligible voters may request a ballot from the Davis County Clerk's office.
