BATTERY BACKUP SYSTEM
Naples City is accepting bids from qualified contractors to assess, furnish, and install a new battery backup system at:

Scope of Work
The selected contractor shall:
Evaluate the building’s existing electrical system and backup power needs.
Determine the appropriate system capacity and estimated backup runtime.
Furnish and install a complete battery backup system, including all necessary electrical components and modifications.
Obtain required permits and inspections.
Test the completed system and provide operating instructions and warranty information.
Complete the work in accordance with applicable codes and manufacturer requirements.
Required Site Visit
Bidders must inspect the building before submitting a bid. Site visits must be completed by September 3, 2026 and scheduled through:

Bids from contractors who do not complete the required site visit may be rejected.
Bid Requirements
Each bid must include:
Contractor’s name and Utah license number.
Description and specifications of the proposed system.
Proposed capacity and estimated backup runtime.
Total project price, including labor, materials, permits, and all other costs.
Estimated installation and completion schedule.
Warranty and maintenance information.
Any exclusions, assumptions, or optional items.

Award
Naples City will consider price, proposed system, contractor qualifications, completion schedule, warranty, and overall value. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities, request additional information, or cancel the solicitation when determined to be in the City’s best interest. Received bids will be presented to the City Council at the next regularly scheduled City Council meeting.
