The 57th annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival is set to transform Historic Main Street into a hub of creative expression from August 7 through August 9, 2026. The weekend-long event, presented by the Kimball Art Center, will feature nearly 200 juried artists and a specialized Locals Night on Friday evening for Summit County residents.
Locals' Night Celebrates Community
The festival's opening night on Friday, August 7, will feature the return of Locals Night, a tradition providing complimentary admission to Summit County residents and homeowners. This event runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., offering a dedicated window for the local community to engage with the festivities before the general public's weekend programming continues.
A Tradition of Connection
According to the Kimball Art Center, Locals Night serves as a community reunion on Main Street, allowing neighbors, families, and artists to connect. Jaimie Mitchell, a Development Specialist at the Kimball Art Center, stated that the event is a way to celebrate the people who make Summit County a special place to live, noting that every year the evening feels like a reunion among old and new friends.
Music and Dining Attractions
The Friday evening festivities will include live music on two separate stages. Performers slated for the event include local favorites Theoretical Blonde, Cosmis Possom, Trio Fratelli, and Will Baxter. In addition to the musical performances, the festival will host food trucks and local restaurants to provide dining options for attendees.
Interactive Art Experiences
For families and hands-on enthusiasts, the festival will feature the Creation Station located on Heber Avenue. This attraction will offer free community art projects, as well as paid take-home art activities. The center will also host a children scavenger hunt to engage younger attendees during the event.

The organization noted that free tickets will not be available at the festival gates on August 7.
Eligibility Requirements for Locals' Night
To qualify for complimentary Locals Night admission, Summit County residents and homeowners must register online in advance at the official festival website. Registration is limited to one adult ticket and up to two children's tickets per order, for children between the ages of 6 and 17. Children aged 5 and younger are eligible for free admission without a ticket.
