In a social media post, the Utah Olympic Park organization stated, "It is with very heavy hearts that we share that our CEO and friend, Colin Hilton, passed away."
The organization described the loss as devastating, noting, "We are unbelievably heartbroken. Colin meant so much to so many of us, and it is hard to put into words what this loss means." A statement from the foundation further characterized Hilton as a "true champion for winter sports in Utah."
