East Meadows has announced the addition of Kate Dryden to its 2nd Grade Team. Dryden joins the school after having lived in several locations, including both the east and west coasts as well as abroad.
In a notice on the school's website, it was noted that Dryden's family is currently residing in Reno, Nevada. She is the second oldest of five children and enjoys spending time with her family.
Dryden's hobbies include painting, baking, camping, hiking, and rock climbing. She expressed an interest in the colors pink and green and enjoys going out for frozen yogurt.
Regarding her profession, Dryden stated that she loves teaching because of the things she learns from children. She noted that children are naturally quick problem-solvers, kind, eager to learn, and naturally creative. Dryden expressed a desire to shape her own life to reflect those qualities.
