East Meadows has introduced Mrs. Jaida Apple, who is joining the 4th grade team as a new teacher this year. According to an undated notice on the district's site, Mrs. Apple is originally from American Fork.
Mrs. Apple recently married her husband, Oaklan, in February. Her personal interests include being outdoors, reading, swing dancing, and spending time with her family. She and her husband have a goal to visit all 63 National parks.
Regarding her profession, Mrs. Apple stated that her favorite part of teaching is helping students experience a lightbulb moment where they transition from being confused to understanding content and gaining confidence in their abilities.
The school expressed excitement in welcoming Mrs. Apple to the team.
