The S.J. & Jessie E. Quinney College of Agriculture & Natural Resources provides a Welding Technology Associate of Applied Science (AAS) program designed to prepare students for the job market as skilled welders.
Available Welding Certifications
Proficient students in the program are able to obtain welder certifications for Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) according to AWS code requirements.
