The Park City Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, according to a notice published August 10. The meeting will take place in person at the Marsac Municipal Building City Council Chambers and will also be available for virtual participation.
The scheduled meeting includes a public hearing and continuation for a five-acre site redevelopment project located at the southwest corner of Kearns Boulevard and Bonanza Drive. The applicant proposes a mixed-use development featuring 106 residential units, over 30,000 square feet of commercial and multidisciplinary art space, community green space, and an underground parking garage. The commission will review the applicant's traffic impact study, transportation demand management plan, parking analysis, sustainability plans, and proposed building height exceptions.
Additional items on the agenda include public hearings and potential action regarding conditional use permits for two properties on American Saddler Drive. One proposal involves constructing a new single-family dwelling with a 349-square-foot swimming pool and a 122-square-foot hot tub on an upper-story deck at 3228 American Saddler. Another proposal for 2868 American Saddler Drive involves a 300-square-foot swimming pool located within the Fairway Meadows Subdivision.
A work session is also scheduled to discuss proposed amendments to the Land Management Code. These amendments aim to integrate and update the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) in Municipal Code Chapter 11-21 and water wise landscaping requirements in Section 15-5-5(N).
The meeting is scheduled to run from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Individuals requiring special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act should notify the Planning Department at 435-615-5060 at least 24 hours before the meeting. Public comments may be submitted virtually or in writing, though written comments submitted during the meeting will be entered into the public record without being read aloud.
