Black Canyon Fire reaches 9% containment as crews work to protect the Reeder Subdivision

For nearly two weeks, crews have continued to battle the lightning-caused Black Canyon Fire, which sits on the Ferron Ranger District of the Manti-La Sal National Forest. The weeks of work are starting to show, as crews have achieved 9% containment on the blaze, while the fire currently sits at 3,543 acres in size.
